Company History

Big City Car Wash is part of a family-owned car wash company that operates 28 car washes in 7 states. We have been in the PEOPLE business since 1963! We wash cars, but what separates us from competitors and other businesses is OUR PEOPLE.  Our customer visit us for a memorable experience that our PEOPLE create.

Our brands include Express Car Wash, Russell Speeder Car Wash, Minuteman Car Wash, Big City Car Wash, Lansing Car Wash St. Peters Car Wash, and more.

Hi Shullman opened our first car wash in Bedford, NY, 1963. His son Richard eventually joined the company and expanded the operation in Connecticut to include two more locations.  John and Michael Shullman started their car wash careers while attending college and have grown the company to where it is today.
